Top Initiative

Areas of Focus

Research Computing and Cyberinfrastructure is evolving to meet our campus needs. We look forward to enhancing research technology collaborations across campus by working on several initiatives in our program’s current Areas of Focus.

Service

We are working to REDEFINE Research Computing and Cyberinfrastructure one service at a time. Through this process we are reviewing existing services and laying the groundwork to create new ones.

Support

Research technology encompasses more than HPC. Now so do we. We are facilitating and supporting other relevant services within the Division of IT. Moreover, we are working hard to increase our staffing in core programming languages to better support researcher requests across the entire University.

Training

We present workshops, collaborate with partners on campus, and provide information about opportunities for training beyond CSU. More information is posted on our Training and Resources page.

Security & Compliance

Preserving the confidentiality, integrity and availability of research data is more important now than ever before. Depending on the type of research and the type of data involved, certain federal, state, local or tribal regulations may apply. Learn more about research data security and compliance.
