REDEFINE: Research Computing and Cyberinfrastructure

REDEFINE is about engaging with the research community the way they engage in their research, through inquiry explored.

Areas of Focus

We are looking forward to enhancing research technology collaborations across campus by working on several initiatives in our program’s current Areas of Focus.

We are working to REDEFINE Research Computing and Cyberinfrastructure one service at a time. Through this process we are reviewing existing services and laying the groundwork to create new ones.

Research technology encompasses more than HPC. Now so do we. We are facilitating and supporting other relevant services within the Division of IT. Moreover, we are working hard to increase our staffing in core programming languages to better support researcher requests across the entire University.

Beginning this Fall ’21 we will be presenting workshops, collaborating with partners on campus, and providing information about opportunities for training beyond CSU. More information will be posted on our Training and Resources page.
